We do one thing well: we grind stumps. With equipment that’s easy on your lawn and only needs 36-inch clearance, we grind your stumps and exposed roots 6-8” below grade so the ground is level (and you get rid of the “stump hump”). We do precision grinding near most fences, sidewalks, and buildings.
Even root ball overturned stumps are no problem. Instead of tearing up your yard with a loader to haul it away and bring in dirt to fill up the hole, we can grind it where it is, using the dirt and mulch from the rootball to fill the hole. We are licensed and insured, so you can rest easy knowing that if anything happens, you're covered! If something is underground, we may ask you to call Miss Dig at 811 to mark all buried lines for us. In the case of buried utilities, when Miss Dig has marked them, they are liable for anything they missed underground. If they should find a line underground near the stump, we proceed with caution and grind to the minimum depth required. We rake the mulch into the hole, and we can point you in the direction of local handymen if more clean-up is required. |
